Wedding Day

The wedding was absolutely above and beyond anything I thought it would be! We had so much fun, and everything came together perfectly. I spent the morning getting ready and relaxing at the house, while the guys went to ride go-carts.

Around 4, we all started making our way to the church. I got into my dress, while Katie had Robbie stand outside to wait on me. I walked around the side of the church and tapped him on the shoulder. When he turned around he had the biggest smile ever on his face, and we hugged, and it was magical! We had a few photos together, and then the wedding party came out for some more pictures. Before I knew it, it was time to go back in and cool off, while getting ready for the ceremony.

At first, the time seemed to go by so slow, but before I knew it, people were arriving and it was 5 minutes until 7! Mary said a prayer and we went around to the front of the church. Once we got up there, everything went by extremely fast! The music started, and the girls went in, then me and Papa. The ceremony was perfect, and the church was beautiful - just what I imagined!

After the ceremony, we had more pictures taken with family, and then went to the reception. We cut the cake and tried to talk to everyone, and take in each moment. We also tried to eat what we could, and our wonderful wedding party made sure we had food nearby at all times. Eventually, we made our way to the front of the church, where everyone had sparklers for our departure! Everything was beautiful!

After we left the church, we met Katie at 5 Guys Burgers and Fries for a few more photos in our wedding clothes. It was so fund walking downtown in my dress, and random people congratulated us! Once we got into 5 Guys, we ordered some fries and a drink, which were on the house because of our wedding attire!

My wonderful Maid of Honor and long-time bestie, Melissa!
