Monday morning, we got up and went to the grocery store for some things we would need around the cottage, and then went to downtown Asheville. The weather was amazing! It was in the low 80's in the middle of the day, and some nights were in the high 60's!
The first place we ate was a little sandwich shop called the Tupelo Honey Cafe.
They start out by giving you these amazing biscuits with Tupelo honey and blackberry jam.
I got the tomato sandwich (grilled with tomato and havarti cheese) with home fries.
And Robbie got the Southern fried chicken BLT with sweet potato fries.
After lunch, we decided to go on a trolly tour to see what was around Asheville...
We ended up waiting for a while, but these guys kept us entertained, and we also met two older couples who were also waiting for the trolly. They had both been married over 25 years, and were there vacationing together.
Our trolly finally came!
Those two couples closest to us are the ones we waited with.
After spending most of the day downtown, we came back to the cottage, and relaxed in the hot tub while Robbie grilled steaks!
And I took pictures of my wedding fragrance and my pretty new ring!
