Saturday evening, Robbie's parents, my mom and Robbie and I met over at my grandparents for barbeque and burgers, and lots of yummy summertime sides. The evening went just how we hoped for, and wonderful memories were made!

Our First 4th!
One of the things the Robbie and I were looking forward to the most about being married, is our families getting together for one big gathering! Both of us come from small families, and as we've all grown up they seem to get a little smaller, but now that two families have come together, it's grown! One of the things my grandpa said as we called back and forth deciding on what to bring to our 4th of July dinner, was "I'm so glad we've got another grandson!"

How fun! I love the table decorations...and the food looks so yummy!!
ReplyDeleteAnother thing I noticed is the beautiful furniture your grandparents have! You will have fun using that to decorate your house someday, I bet :)
I am glad you had a good 4th! We have always enjoyed having both of our families get together when we are home...what a blessing to have families that get a long! So happy for you both! Love you guys!
