We have been enjoying getting settled into our married life!! Our apartment feels like home, and we are enjoying being able to have dinners that are made in our very own kitchen. We are on a bit of a crazy schedule because of work...lots of things going on in the service department that Robbie has been staying late to help out with. Which is kind of nice, because I get a little chance to sit and reflect on our sweet little home, and turn on some Jamie Cullum while I make our dinner. Then around 7 or 8, he comes home and we eat dinner while watching some of our favorites.
We're still getting used to having weekends where we can just relax and do whatever comes up. No 5 hour driving trips? No cramming everything we want to do into 2 days? FABULOUS! This weekend, the plan is to get dinner with my mom Friday night, and then just relax Saturday...get up when we feel awake enough to do so, maybe get some new work pants for Robbie, maybe go downtown? The possibilities are endless! Sunday usually consists of getting up and ready for church, maybe a stop for breakfast along the way (I'm hoping Bojangles will become a tradition, it's where we went a couple of weeks ago and their biscuits are just so good!) For the next two weeks, we will be going to the "Start Here" classes on Sunday mornings. They are to prepare us for joining the church and get plugged in, and they go over the history of the church, beliefs, core values, etc. I am so excited to be able to get involved in such a wonderful church with Robbie! We have been craving to go to church together, and when we were long distance it didn't get to happen anywhere near as much as we would like it to. Now we are finally able to settle into a church family! I'm so blessed and so happy about the things going on right now!
